Award-winning couture designer, Prashi Shah will debut her 2013 Collection Runway Show at Sisu Uptown Resort on November 30th at 8 p.m. Proceeds from the fashion show will benefit the Ovarian Cancer Society and THE FASHIONISTAS.

For the 4th year in a row Dallas stylist Jillian Prado will be showcasing her Drastically Appropriate looks pulled from local stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for an upbeat, chic and trendy fashion show. The Boss Level will be playing live music during the 50-look show.

In 2002, out of the extra bedroom of her home with only $500, Kendra Scott combined her love for fashion with her creative talents and began her own line of jewelry.

The Story: Yves Saint Laurent Celebrates 50 Years

THE FASHIONISTAS are pleased to host Laurent Cotta as guest lecturer in the FASHION TALK Lecture Series. Laurent Cotta is an art and fashion historian. His most resent acclaim stems from his work on the “Madame Grès, Fashion Design”exhibition as part of the “Galliera Off-Site” program. Since 2002, Cotta has been responsible for contemporary creations at Galliera, the museum of fashion in Paris, France.

THE FASHIONISTAS have partnered with Galleria Dallas to host our own Shopper Lounge on Level One, right next to Sephora. Vince Camuto, Founder and CEO of the fashion company Camuto Group, is an American women’s footwear designer who is well known for co-founding and establishing Nine West Inc. as a leading women’s fashion brand.

Ralph Lauren understands the power and magic that a fashion designer has in their creativity, “I don’t design clothes, I design dreams” says Lauren. THE FASHIONISTAS embrace the ingenuity and the power of fashion with their student design competition Young Designer Showcase; a fashion event designed to reward, support, motivate and inspire. Finalist in the competition will present 3-5 looks to Dallas’ most fashionable on May 12, 2011 from at 7:00 ~ 9:00pm at South Side on Lamar and will be vying for scholarships from THE FASHIONISTAS Board Scholarship Fund.

THE FASHIONISTAS are pleased to host a private preview of Fashion on Main and their exhibition “American Designs: The 1950s” with guest lecturer Myra Walker as part of our FASHION TALK Lecture Series. Walker is the Curator and Director of the Texas Fashion Collection, located on the University of North Texas campus, and has been sharing the gems of the collection with Dallas audiences at the Fashion on Main gallery since fall 2006.

THE FASHIONISTAS are pleased to host Cerón as guest lecturer in the FASHION TALK Lecture Series. Cerón studied in France under the tutelage of Frederick and Jean Saberny, widely considered to be two of the top stylists in Europe. In Paris, Cerón provided to be a razor sharp student in the art of hairstyling, and his natural talent combined with top-rate, first-hand education, quickly took the young apprentice from fledgling student to master stylist.
