Tre
Amici Prime Steakhouse & Seafood will launch their second Savor the Arts
event on May 13th. Tre
Amici held their first quarterly art, food and philanthropy fete last year with
the aim to celebrate Chef Chris Hughes’ culinary talents as well as give back
to the community by showcasing the arts and donating the proceeds to a featured
charity (The Fashionistas are lucky enough to the beneficiaries this go
round). Tre Amici General Manager
Ken Branstetter shares, “We look forward to the second Savor the Arts as we
discovered through our first event that our passion for fine cuisine and the
arts proves success for local philanthropies.”
Plan
to view artwork by local artist such as Emil Cerullo, George Fowler and
Michelle Williams, throughout the dining room and bar as well as within a silent
auction, which guests can bid on all evening. Bryan Embry, owner of Ross/Akard
Gallery will serve as curator. Dynamic British pianist Adrian King who has
toured with the Beatles and The Rolling Stones is set to perform. Complimentary wine reception to be held
from 5pm – 7pm, dinner can be enjoyed from 7pm – 11pm. Tre Amici is located at 18020 North
Dallas Parkway, Dallas. Please
contact Bri Crum for more information bri.crum@thefashionistas.org or make your reservations at 972.250.4400.
This Designer Challenge Summer Camp will allow students to learn sewing skills as well as design in a short period of time, similar to that of Project Runway. The Camp’s main objectives will be to teach basic sewing, sketching and pattern making skills. Our camp’s primary focus will be on the creative in order to encourage designers rather than seamstresses. This five-day camp, held from 9am – 4pm at South Side on Lamar, is priced at $250 to $300 per student. Visit our tickets page to purchase online. Please contact Bri Crum for more information at 214-577-2965 or bri.crum@thefashionistas.org.
